Fishing with SLAM

Use the predator corridor

When soft bait fishing with SLAM, it is recommended to re-cast back into the previous cast path to take advantage of the ''predator corridor'' the pheromones will create when released in the water.
Pheromones released by the lure will attract fish to the location of multiple casts in the one zone.

Use the patience factor

Targeting fish that feed off the bottom, cast your SLAM, giving the rod a couple of twitches as the lure descends through the water column. When it reaches the bottom, let the lure sit there for up to a minute. Then give the rod a couple of short lifts winding the slack, and once again let the lure sink to the bottom.
Give the pheromones time to seep into the water around the lure. If you feel a couple of light taps when targeting bottom feeding fish, strike the fish by swiftly lifting the rod.

Use SLAM in the burley trail

Fish your SLAM unweighted down a burley trail for a better chance of attracting larger fish. Get the SLAM down to the preferred depth and give the rod tip a fewshort lifts, settle for a few seconds and repeat.
The fleeting action of an unweighted SLAM in the burley trail represents a feeding baitfish.
Stimulate Pellet Burley is a great option if you want a hassle-free, ready to go burley for instant use.

Use it as a soft bait lure. Use it as a bait. Fish actually eat it.
